Located in downtown Winchester Indiana, Towne Square Community Centre can accommodate up to 200 guests. Host virtually any event with us from company meetings, corporate parties, award ceremonies to wedding receptions, wedding ceremonies, family reunions, family gatherings, holiday parties, fundraisers, birthday parties to bridal showers, baby showers, funerals and memorial services and more!
History of Towne Square Facility
The Towne Square Community Centre renovation was started in March 2011 and was completed by July 2011. Formerly known as Hawkins Appliances and JC Penney before that, the current facility was renovated under the new energy conservation code, exterior walls all have additional insulation and lighting system throughout the facility is controlled by a computer in the basement. While renovating the building to modern energy codes, we strived to preserve the historical integrity of the building and therefore replaced the ceiling with a replica of the original tin ceiling with exact duplicates constructed by a company out of Cleveland. Even the elevator in the rear of the building is still an Otis hand operated rope driven elevator which was the second elevator Otis installed in the state of Indiana, it’s still operational and is used on a daily basis.
Even though we’ve restored the facility close to its original historical look and feel, we wanted to offer a facility with modern technology to meet the needs of the community. You’ll notice around the room, six 72 inch High Definition televisions which can be utilized for cable television, playing DVD’s, connecting to the internet, gaming system hookup and more. The entire facility is also hardwired and has wireless capabilities for PowerPoint presentations. The sound system is an independent system which will accommodate all audiovisual needs as well as support the use of a wireless microphone. We also have other amenities available for rent such as a portable bar, dance floor, linens & china table settings. Also, full use of a service prep area (some restrictions apply).

TSCC EVENT HOSTING
The types of events that can be hosted at Towne Square Community Center in Winchester, Indiana are virtually endless, including but not limited to the following: company meetings, wedding receptions, wedding ceremonies, corporate parties, award ceremonies, presentations, webcasts, teleconferencing, family reunions, family gatherings, holiday parties, fundraisers, birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, funerals and memorial services etc.
The facility can accommodate up to 200 people. You may also rent our portable bar and our dance floor that are listed on our Price List for your event. If you have a larger event to be catered, please refer to our Approved Service Providers listing as all caterers must be pre-approved by TSCC prior to catering an event.
Venue Technology
Wi-Fi is available at no charge. We can accommodate your PowerPoint presentations and photo slideshows using your laptop and projecting that onto our SIX – 72” High Definition Flat Panel Televisions mounted all around the facility. We also have a Blu-Ray DVD player, cable and a complete surround sound system.
With Towne Square Community Centre’s technology your options for your event are virtually endless. For meetings and fundraisers, present key points through Power Point presentations with your commentation over cordless microphones and have the option to show informational videos. For family and personal gatherings, have your photo slide-shows with music running continuously throughout the event and microphones are available for speeches.
At Towne Square Community Centre, we strive to make your event run smoothly so we insist you meet with us a few days prior to your event and bring your laptop with content you want to present so we can ensure everything will work fine before the day of your event. Also, any special requests or concerns can be addressed beforehand.

RENTING
RENTAL AGREEMENT & APPROVED SERVICE PROVIDERS
Location Rental
Towne Square Community Centre can be rented for $50 per hour or $500 for a day with both options requiring a $100 damage deposit due at signing*. Additional $400 cleaning fee if party does not clean up.
Day Rental Hours are 9:00am – Midnight.
*Damage deposit will be returned at the conclusion of the event if no damage is done. A 3% processing fee will be charged to all credit card payments

Towne Square Approved Caterers
Outside caterers are welcome, but must be pre-approved by TSCC. Please note that any caterer not on the list must be approved by TSCC in advance.

Event: Wedding Reception
Towne Square Community Centre was a wonderful facility for our daughter’s wedding reception. The staff is very pleasant and helpful and easy to work with. Our out of town guests were impressed with the facility. It was also close to the church where the wedding took place.

My sisters and I held a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party for our parents at The Towne Square Community Centre. This facility is an unexpected gem in the heart of Winchester, IN.
We were thrilled with the venue and the support we received from the staff leading up to the event and throughout the entire party.
